All Daycare and Hoteling fur-members must be at least 4 months old and fully vaccinated.
Woof N Wag Miami does not require fur-members to be spayed or neutered but an additional fee does apply.
Woof N Wag Miami requires proof of up-to-date vaccinations from a vet for all fur-members for the following vaccinations/health examinations
– Bordetella (every 6 months if administered orally, yearly if administered via injection or intranasally)
– Distemper/DHPP/DA2PP
– Rabies
– Flea Preventative
– Canine Influenza (strongly recommended but not required. There has not been a major outbreak in the Tampa Bay area for years, but if that ever occurs, we may require the vaccine for all fur babies)
*If you don’t have your vaccination records on hand, we can help you obtain them from your vet.
All breeds are welcome at Woof N Wag Miami! Every fur-member must pass an initial evaluation and is expected to abide by the same set of rules, regardless of breed.
We require evaluations for all new fur-members and facilitate them every day of the week but must be scheduled in advance. This process gives you access to a complimentary half day of daycare, allowing us the ability to ensure your pup is comfortable in their suite and out in the play yards with our existing members. Proof of vaccinations is required prior to your evaluation being confirmed.
Our Facility Model
To ensure the safety and comfort of our Daycare Adventurers, our play groups are comprised of dogs who share similar size, temperaments, and play styles. They are always supervised by Adventure Guides that have completed the Woof N Wag Miami training program and are experts at what they do.
Daycare pups enjoy action-packed play sessions with their fur-iends for extended periods at a time before heading to their personal suites to relax and prepare for their next adventure! We rotate groups throughout the entire day and provide an overnight potty break at all 24/7 facilities.
At Woof N Wag Miami, the safety and well-being of our members is our top priority, which is why we don’t offer all day play. Doggy daycares have begun to increase in popularity as more and more people want their furry family member to enjoy socialization and stimulation. However, there’s such thing as too much stimulation. Allowing pups to play non-stop for excessive amounts of time has been found to potentially lead to issues such as over-exhaustion, over-arousal (which can lead to aggression), overheating (especially in this FL sun!), and more. When it comes to making sure our fur-members have the most fun while remaining comfortable and safe, we’ve found that the small breaks in between play cycles make a big difference. Just like you take breaks during physical activity, so should your pup!

Reservations
We ask that you make reservations in advance for all reservation types, both daycare and boarding, to ensure our team knows to expect you. Spots are not guaranteed for pups who arrive without a reservation – if we have hit our capacity for the day and you arrive without a reservation, we will unfortunately be unable to take your pup.
Reservations can be made through our member portal, or by contacting your facility directly via email or phone. You will receive an email confirmation for all requested reservations that will tell you if the reservation has been accepted or rejected. If for any reason the reservation is rejected, the email will state the reason why (expired vaccinations, facility is full, etc.).
We recommend you make reservations as soon as you know you will need care! We fill up for boarding and daycare on most major holidays, so we highly suggest you book these dates well in advance. Spots are first come, first serve. Please note that all reservations for major U.S. holidays (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years) require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. Should you need to cancel your reservation, please do so at least 48 hours before your check-in date. If you cancel within 48 hours of check-in, your deposit will be forfeited (non-refundable). A $5/day surcharge is applied to the 3 days before and after the above-mentioned holidays.
We do have a waitlist for daycare and boarding spots – in order to be placed on the list, you must contact your facility directly.
Since we operate based on our capacity, we ask that you please cancel any unneeded reservations by 8 AM on the day of check-in. If we do not receive a cancellation request by 8 AM and you do not drop off for the remainder of the day, we will count this as a No Call/No Show. Every member gets one free No Call/No Show in which they will receive a courtesy call from our team. After the first time, a credit will be deducted for members who No Call/No Show on a day they have reserved.
